Our promise to you
Officers will treat each person with respect.
We will tell you who your local policing team are, how to
contact them and how to work with them to make your local community
safer.
We will ensure your local policing team are on patrol as much as
possible so they are easy to approach and speak to.
If you have to contact us and leave a message we will get back
to you.
If you ring the non-emergency number 101 we will answer your
call as soon as possible. We will answer questions or make an
appointment to attend if needed.
We will advice you of local SNAP (Safer Neighbourhood Action
Panel Meetings) meetings which you can attend and ask questions
about things affecting you in your community.
We will keep the community informed of our neighbourhood
priorities and what we are doing to tackle these issues.
If you are a victim of crime we will keep you regularly informed
or answer any questions regarding your case.
If you are not happy with the service you have had or are having
we will meet you and discuss it with you and resolve these
problems.
Where possible we may put you in touch with partner agencies to
help you overcome any issues that are affecting you and/or the
community.
